"I am Therefore You are"
To me, being an African means to live within a community with a strong set of cultural beliefs and practices. To be African, means to live within a community where everyone has a right to co-exist in whatever way they choose or not choose to show up in society and everyone should give and receive respect, love and compassion. To me, I am most proud of our lifestyle and the concept of UBUNTU - I am, therefore you are. The concept of UBUNTU is one that is inclusive and one that makes our survival interlinked as a human race and the only way we can thrive is through loving and Sharing with those with whom we share space in our communities.
